Our Projects

In 1995, a group of American businessmen working in the UK saw the enormous potential in the developing economies of North Africa and the Middle East. With its rich history and natural resources, an artisan and merchant tradition, and an energetic professional class, the region offered powerful and largely untapped synergies with the markets, services, and business approaches of the United States and Europe. IBA's founders recognized that it would require patience and flexibility and began the process of building a business model that reinforced mutual learning. Since its beginning, IBA has opened offices and forged alliances throughout North Africa and the Middle East. Today, IBA leads a variety of business and organizational development projects through its offices around the region to enable participation in the global economy for a very diverse group:

  • In Jordan, IBA works primarily in human resources consulting which encompasses advisory and implementation activities related to the management of an organization’s human capital and the HR function. The scope of services range from overarching work on human capital strategy, the design and deployment of a compensation & benefits framework down to the transformation of the HR function. Our consultants offer their expertise in 5 main areas: Organizational Change, Talent Management, HR Function, Benefits & Rewards and Learning & Development.

  • IBA has been developing the next generation of regional leaders through its workshops, coaching, and consulting programs to diverse clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to international development agencies to large regionally based companies competing globally.

  • IBA also provides consulting services across the region to ex-patriates seeking to acquire the language and cultural skills needed to contribute to the local economies and communities.
